What the tool is

Dead Pixel Test displays solid colour patterns in your browser so you can inspect a screen visually. It performs no measurement of your hardware and gives no diagnosis, repair instruction or warranty assessment. Downloaded summaries are your own inspection notes, not certificates of any kind.

Acceptable use

• Use the tool for lawful, personal inspection of displays.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the site or misrepresent its outputs as certifications.
• Do not rely on this tool as the sole basis for a purchase, repair or legal decision.

Availability and liability

The site is provided free of charge and “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site’s operator is not liable for decisions you make based on your own visual inspection, nor for temporary unavailability of the site.
